Maple & Cherry Kitchen Painted White
The perimeter door and drawer faces in this modern kitchen are made of white painted Maple and have a flat panel beaded inset detail. The island doors and drawer faces are made of solid Cherry, styled to emulate their mantle detailing. The drawer boxes are built in solid hardwood with dovetail joinery and have full extension undermount drawer glides with a self-close feature. The carcasses were constructed of ¾" veneer core Maple plywood. This custom cabinetry was designed and fabricated to utilize the historic doors on site. A lazy susan & double trash pullout were chosen by the client and this hardware is hidden within the cabinets. There is also a radius fronted base cabinet with glass door inserts and we re-used existing glass doors to keep the original feel.
