These homeowners wanted an ultra-contemporary kitchen designed to go with the chandelier called the ‘Twisted Sister’ that they had purchased in a gallery in Atlanta. They decided upon Birds-eye Maple and European Beech for the cabinet doors and used hand finished stainless steel panels as accent pieces for the base of the island and the backsplash. We worked with the steel fabricator to ensure that the pieces would fit seamlessly. We also commissioned a local glass artist to produce leaded glass pieces to accent the windows.
