Chris Clemans
(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)Chris is the guy that is often the first one a visitor to CabFab will encounter – he does it all. Sales, design, building and feeding us lunch. His idea of relaxing is cooking dinner for 12 people without having a menu in mind till he gets to the store for inspiration.
Janelle Fields
Marketing Specialist
(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)Janelle is a corporate late bloomer, taking a 20 year rabbit trail to finding what she really loves to do - help business owners use words and images to sell more stuff. Janelle hangs around the edges of CabFab, officially as the ‘marketing consultant'. She collaborates with the team every week to find the right mix of interesting and fun ways to grow CabFab's business. What she really wants to get in on is the food activity, and to learn just enough about cabinets to write credible press releases. A guerilla marketing devotee, Janelle wonders most of the time when she'll qualify for a CabFab shirt. She likes the cool company contests, too.
Scott Hoehn
(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)Scott is the design and drafting guy. He is often the one tasked with taking something that Chris dreams up and having to figure out how to draw it. Lately, he’s been learning a bit about building cabinets so he can think about how the heck we are supposed to build these things he draws! Scott has a crafty sense of humor, and is often saying things that make Carolyn stop in her tracks to look up and see if he REALLY said that.
Jody & Gary
Jody and Gary are the Syracuse shop guys. They keep the router running and supplied with materials to cut. They’ve been know to do everything from dig ditches to build cabinets. They have a ‘friend’ Wilma that keeps them company in the shop. She started out as a ball of tape named Wilson… well, the rest is a long story!
Miles Lewis
Cabinetmaker Extraordinaire
Miles recently joined CabFab after spending some time being apprenticed by some of our most respected fellow cabinetmakers. He comes to us with many skills, great abilities to problem solve and is great with his hands. In fact - when he is not building cabinets and spraying finishes, he is a juggler, professional weddding cake baker, and all-around renaissance man who knows a little bit about everything. He is engaged to be married in the near future to Katie after proposing to her on a mountaintop in the Adirondacks last fall.
Erika DeSocio
Purchasing/Marketing Assistant
(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)Erika is one of the newer additions at CabFab and wasn’t afraid to give Carolyn and Chris hugs on her interview. Erika is a Singer/Songwriter for The Erika DeSocio Band and you can often see her singing and dancing right at the front desk. Her job tasks range from entering the shop workers time sheets (which she does in lightning speed) to modeling compost containers for clients with ease. She also designs the advertisements and company invitations. Stop in and say hello and you’re guaranteed to be greeted with a big smile!
Carolyn Clemans
(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)Carolyn is the back office manager and computer specialist. Her main goal is to give enough support to everyone else to allow them to operate without her around! She loves to travel with Chris and hopes to have a sunflower farm some day.
Ben Sulikowski
Cabinetmaker
Ben has worked at CabFab since the initial renovation of the building began in 2005. He has done everything imaginable here from cabinet making and installation to rehabbing an old building to diagnosing and repairing machinery. He is currently preparing to head back to college to pursue a degree in engineering after taking some time off to figure out what he wants to do. He loves music and snowboarding, and has perhaps the best ipod music collection in the world!
