Ithemba Shoji
Shoji is a traditional Japanese architectural element featuring bamboo framework with paper inserts. These screens are still used as room dividers today. This modern version of the Shoji screen features a Cherry framework with 3Form Varia Ecoresin panels. The panels feature a beaded mesh made in partnership with a non-profit group in South Africa which works with women who have HIV or AIDS and pays them a fair wage for their work.
