Lava Dance Club

When the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY decided to build a Vegas-style dance club, CabFab got the call for what turned out to be some truly ‘over-the-top’ millwork. As the pictures will attest, red was the color of choice and the redder the better! CabFab’s primary tasks involved the prototyping, structural consulting and fabricating of 4 separate bar installations. The bars were designed by Bob Frisch of Zausmer, Frisch, Scruton and Aggerwal and the Princeton Cos. who was the General Contractor.

A careful observation of all of the projects pictured show that literally nothing in the club is designed along a straight line. Every element of the project involved specialty radius work including this installation.
This is the first bar encountered when entering Lava and definitely the theme-setter. The focal point is a circular shelf unit in the center topped with a gigantic functional lava lamp. Included is a picture of this unit under construction in our shop.
